Meet Your Clinician
Meg Weaver, APRN, FNP-C opened Lawton Women’s Clinic to provide a safe and inclusive space for patients to receive sexual health care. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Simmons in Boston and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Oklahoma.
She brings experience as an FNP in primary care and sexual health after many years of work as a registered nurse in numerous areas including ICU, outpatient surgery, pain management, and inpatient psych. After an internship in HIV prevention/management and 2SLGBTQ+ health, Meg began working as a nurse practitioner at Planned Parenthood Great Plains where she gained the knowledge and expertise that she now brings to Lawton Women’s Clinic.
Meg’s ability to make patients feel heard and acknowledged - as well as her down-to-earth personality - makes her a sought-after clinician in an area of health care that often provokes anxiety in patients.
